Credibility has little to do with it.

You forget, this didn't start with Bush, or Iraq. Most of the people who are hostile to us now and pushing this line of thinking have been hostile to us for many years.

There are riots because we mishandle a Koran. Islamists blow up entire mosques full of worshipers. Where are the protests then? The riots? Anybody wonder why? Is it really about religion?

In all the many "peace" protests prior to the war in Iraq, there was not one single sign or protest demanding that Saddam cooperate with the U.N., or do anything at all. It was one, long bile stream directed at the U.S. and the president. Leftists march down streets in Europe side-by-side with Islamists--people who think women are inferior, and gays should be dead. For them, this never was about "peace," and it was never about "human rights." It was about hatred of America, Israel, and the West.

Almost every reported incident in Guantanamo is hearsay from prisoners, including released prisoners seeking legal redress. If you add up only things actually witnessed by third parties, or reported by the military, what do you actually get? Did you ever bother to look?

The man quoted in that article says in other articles that Zarqawi is an invention of America. Dahr Jamail writes for a hard leftist publication in Alaska. He's been at this a long, long time.

If I printed a supposedly factual article written by Ann Coulter, you would immediately dismiss the entire thing. Why? And where is this skepticism when the other side of the axe is being ground?

How frigging obvious does this have to be? Ask yourself: Why do some people want so badly for everything evil said about America to be true?
