Oh - I'll admit - they did one HELL of a job of the invaison. One minute it was the odd orange flash in B'dad, a couple of days later and the country was done and dusted.
But - perhaps that 'shock and awe' methadology is what has lead to the total mess that remains today. A subtle approach ( given that it wasnt WMDs or an AQ issue ) - the way to exact regieme change isnt by invaiding the whole country - just eliminate the regieme.
