re: Who said anything about Bush?

"Our behavior is testimony to our principles, not the other way around. Think for a second why the people in the region are already hostile. Who have been our pals? The Shah and his secret police. Until the invasion of Kuwait, Saddam Hussein. And the Taliban were okeydokey, even as they oppressed their women for years and years, until 911, because they were antiCommunists."

When you say "our behavior", I suppose you referring to State Dept position? Or what? You can't be saying that Red State or Blue State knew much or cared much about anything regarding the Taliban.
And if you mean the State Dept, first, it would be the fault of the State Dept, no?

Assuming you mean the Stae Dept, is possible that you were misinformed? For instance you might have got this impression by reading about somebody's opinion of the State Dept position- maybe stating this opinion in dramatic terms [I'm trying to be polite here].

Now, isn't possible that *hate speech* is possible in other countries other then in American? Could this *BE* a reasonable cause?
Do you think a large number of people who blame the Jews for most of the world's problem are even vaguely right? Are the Jews in the world, especially the American Jews [most Jews in the world are in American, btw] are the cause of much of what is wrong in this world?

I am I being unfair? Is it that you actually believe this, but can't say it because it would make you look bad?

And these people who hate American have other positions. Are any of these position vaguely rational. Or do you just want to focus on the one issue of Anti-americanism- they *happen* to be right about that but wrong about their other POVs.

Isn't it true that these people braying their anti-Americanism, are simply a bunch kooks, and these leading this cause are about as intellectual as those that wore bed sheets? Those Grand Wizards of Foolery.

Show me the best you got; which one is can make a case which seems most compelling to you?
