Asked over and over, no conservative will answer. So far.

The North Vietnamese tortured American pilots. Since the US never did declare war, the Geneva Convention did not apply.

As the result of torture, the North Vietnamese developed more effective defensive tactics.

Question: Were the North Vietnamese justified in torturing American pilots?

Follow up: Are the enemies of America justified in torturing any Americans who come under their control on the chance they may have useful information?

Each of these can be answer "yes" or "no".
