You know the answer, we're not monsters
Comparing the two countries is useless.
Obviously it is wrong to torture humans.
The big difference is when the US does it and it's found out about there is an investigation by the US and there is a judgment by the US and there is consequences issued by the US.
When the Vietnamese do it they celebrate and pat the administer on the back. They don't self regulate or question it themselves.
If you can't see the difference, there's no hope for you. And no it doesn't justify the US doing it.
