Even a token pullout would pressure the Iraqi government to put aside petty squabbling and work as a team. After all, it is not necessarily permanent. But we must not let them think that they can rely upon us forever.

Also, I am definitely NOT one of the Leftist Welfare glorifiers, as you know.
