Here's the key to how your mind works: There's always a villain.

Nothing (that you don't like) ever happens for straightforward, simple reasons. There's always a villain who is guilty of making it happen to further their own nefarious, hidden agenda (hidden except to you).

You know what that state of mind is called, don't you?
