Greetings from Texas, Iranian Student.

I am glad to see you post here.

Most Americans want a free Middle East that can live peacefully with the Free World. Many of us feel it is even worth sacrificing American lives to help you get free. Americans must remember that we did not earn our freedom. We inherited it from the Blood of the American Revolutionist.

I have a cousin flying helicopters in Afghanistan. I also have a cousin and an old Junior High School friend fighting in Iraq. They all believe in what they are doing, bringing freedom to your part of the world.

I have watch the students in Iran speak out in recent years. You want freedom. Once freedom establishes itself in a people and a region, and can not be taken back. This is why Al Qaeda is fighting so hard against it in Iraq. They know freedom will bring and end to their oppressive rule.

I met my first Iran back in 1980. I was in 6th grade and a young boy had just immigrated here from your country. His name was Allie (Not sure if I spelled that right- pronounced All-Lee) and he sat in the desk in front of me. He spoke no English. I remember saying “Golly” one day and he turned around an looked at me like I said his name. I was impressed with how quickly he learned English. Years later, when we all graduated from High School, he was just as much of an American as any of us.

Iranian Student, stay strong, educated and safe. Soon you will have Free Democracies on either side of you. That Freedom will spread into Iran. There will be no way to stop it.
