I agree that he seems to be legit based on the research that was done. I originally had some question due to his use of the Zarathusa reference but I am satisfied for now.
There is no accounting for identity scams on internet boards and it pays to be skeptical. I think many are perpetrated by aspiring writers trying out fictional personas. They might create one or even two characters and even kill one off if it became unwhieldy.
It is even possible that after a long time relationship they might even feel some remorse and look for a way to exit dramatically, only to return in their true identity.
I am ever the skeptic and I cannot stand to be deceived, even if it is harmless.
