...all ended up in Orange County with a large portion of their fortunes intact. Most were well educated in English long before they arrived.

It's nice having friends who are ex-royalty from both Iran & Vietnam. It gives one a first-hand view of both "popular" revolutions in a much more comprehensive/balanced manner than they teach it here in the US or elsewhere in the world.

Needless to say they are all republicans now and take a strong stand for pro-active US military engagement and an equally strong stand against illegal immigration.
