Katrina as a political weapon.
The Democratic Party can sell this as a Republican failure, by simply repeating it as such, over and over again. For most people, evidence won't be required.
Keep in mind one million American citizens have lost their homes and everythig they owned. Americans will attempt to make sense of this in the simplest and most straightforward way they can. And the easiest way to make sense of this for most people is that the political party in charge failed.
Damn straight. And the Democrats and the media are not going to go a great distance out of their way to disabuse them of that notion.
Better hope to God there ISN'T an investigation (somebody tell Hillary), because right now the Democrats and media can steer this as they see fit. Won't be so easy when documentation starts to get forced out front.
