Sorry, Robert.

You're so far out into left field with this that I don't know if it's worth the page and a half it would take to try to pull you back.

I don't give a shit about Nixon. The man made me angry enough with some of his policies that I actually voted for McGovern as a protest (I was young). But back when I was in college, the man was demonized to an extent far beyond political opposition, and these same people are working the mainstream system now, which was the only point I was trying to make.

You lose me almost immediately with the ridiculous idea that the mainstream media is not biased toward the Left. I have submitted surveys, data, and other information. Entire books have been written showing this. I could fill this board daily with examples of how certain subjects are treated versus others, of what news gets printed, and what gets left out (and no, it isn't just "bleeds it leads.") It apparently makes no impression. For you, it's enough to simply say, "no it isn't," and that settles it.

Then, when you tell me that you see nothing liberal about the entertainment industry, I start to wonder what planet you're living on.

On Jimmy Carter and the Nobel Prize.

From the Guardian:

Just to make sure that the world got the message, Gunnar Berge, the chairman of the Nobel committee, spelt things out: "It should be interpreted as a criticism of the line that the current administration has taken. It's a kick in the leg to all that follow the same line as the United States."

You can parse that until you're blue in the face. I call them like I see them.

As for the polls, I showed that in the group that responded, Democrats outnumbered Republicans by 59 to 41 percent (assuming independents are evenly split) in the CBS Poll. 52 to 41 percent in the Washington Post poll. And so on. And you look at me like you have no idea what I'm talking about??

You're supposed to be one of the smartest ones here. I swear I don't know what I'll do if you develop an osmium skull like Bowser's.
