Thanks, Robert. I'm usually aware that when I post, it'll be read by more than the person to whom I'm nominally replying. I knew I was painting with a broad brush, and I was addressing the whole group of people still defending Bush. I wanted to provoke Tom to reply, of course, because he's sort of the spokesman for the group.
I have faith in your reasonableness, and sure, we can split the difference. The story's not over, and really, at this point, we're just placing our bets on the table. Politics long ago replaced baseball as America's national pastime.
