Right now the enemy is Al Qaeda and other terrorist, who we are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan with professional solders, instead of fighting them on the streets of America with citizens.
We have hurt Al Qaeda. We have hurt them bad. They are making a last stand in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have tried to hurt America here at home, but they have been unsuccessful, and now they are doing all they can to fight us in the Middle East. They are loosing.
We also had the enemy Saddam, who invaded a foreign country, is responsible for hundreds of thousands of murders, and who has build WMD and used them. He also violated parts of the UN resolution and who violated the no fly zone. He is no longer a threat and will be tried by his own people for the crimes he committed against them.
