Driving out past Palm Springs...
one suddenly comes to a windmill zone, where hundreds are spinning on hills on both sides of the freeway.
They are very annoying and disconcerting to drive past. They distract. I suggest energy windmills be used in areas far from major roads, especially freeways.
Something about seeing dozens of various speed rotations simultaneously that grates on the mind.
Give me fixed solar power panels anyday.
