Lezzzee, Tom, when you say the left (and we can assume from your previous rantings you include the entire Democratic party) has no <"frigging clue what to do about the Islamists and terrorism"> you seem to be creating a linkage between Islam and terrorism. Right?

Whether you are, or not, it seems to be suggested that two and only two alternatives exist in the "what to do" scenario. 1) we can get along with them and deal with them as neighbors with the right to exist and grant them the right of self-determination, or 2) the Republican way, we can attack them (what is there, a billion Muslims in how many countries?) bend them to our will, dominate their societies, dictate their form and operation of government and teach them how to behave.

When you ask what Kerry, Gore, or Joe Smith would have done you are making an unwarranted assumption that you know the answer--which you don't, and couldn't unless you and Pat Robertson have joined together on that direct line talking to God.

Perhaps a better answer would be for you to reach back and tell us what you think FDR, Truman, or Kennedy would have done?

The answer we have on the table from the Republican party is to invade a smaller weaker country under false pretenses as an excuse to gain a measure of control over their oil to benefit corporate interests. Now, what is the next step? How about non-Muslim North Korea? Should we attack Syria? How about those Persians? And shouldn't we do something about the Tamal Tigers? And how come we haven't been able to capture that bin Laden fellow?

Please sir, tell us your friggen clue?
