I agree on the decision to invade Iraq. Disagree on just about everything else.
Including:
-ID
-Bush tax cuts
-global warming
-anwar (mostly because it's a drop in the bucket. It is not worth the amount of effort they keep wasting on it as a matter of principle - people over environment). If it had as much oil as SA, I'd have to consider balancing my environmental concerns versus the benefits to the US economy.
-just about any other environmental policy of theirs
-no child left behind (good idea, lousy implemenation and taken too far) Mainstreaming severely mentally handicapped childred is a brain dead idea IMO that causes far more harm than good.
-less regulation is better (although agree too much is easily possible)
-government is the problem not the solution (although agree it is often the problem)
-pay to play
-if you can't beat em redistrict em
-Bush deserves most of the credit for economic recovery
-Handling of prisoner abuse issue and culpability in it.
-pandering to the religious right
I'm not to thrilled with the postwar handling of Iraq, but haven't seen a democrat propose a fesible alternative that was clearly better. More troops has been proposed on both sides, but that would have clearly exacerbated some negative issues as helped maintain control better. The bottom line is Bush's team clearly didn't spend enough time planning for it because it's clear they had 0 contingency plans.
But then, I do agree with partially privatizing social security.
Let's see your list.
see ya
