Update on the Enlightened's dealings with Iraq as it builds atomic weapons

EU leaders say they are very concerned...
...The German foreign minister described the developments as "very, very ominous", and the Austrian chancellor held open the possibility of sanctions.
...German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said the latest move "marks a breach of Tehran's commitments... It cannot remain without consequence".
Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel said he was "very concerned" about the developments.
He said the possibility of sanctions against Iran would "in due course be discussed by the EU", but that "that point in time has not yet arrived."
And from the great Nobel Prize Winner Mohamed ElBaradei:
...Mr ElBaradei, the head of the IAEA, disputed Tehran's assertion that 90 per cent of issues related to the resumption of research had been solved.
"I am running out of patience, the international community is running out patience, the credibility of the verification process is at stake and I'd like - by March - which is when my next report is, to be able to clarify these issues," he said.
"Everybody would like to see a regime by which the international community is assured that the Iranian programme is exclusively for peaceful purposes and there are still a number of issues we are looking at.
"There is also a consensus that enrichment in ... Iran right now is a matter of serious concern."
So, if he doesn't hear some "clarification" by March--three months from now--then, what? Even sterner expressions of "concern?" Has one damn phrase of this story changed in over a year?
In short, those who constantly delight in instructing us on foreign policy from atop their pedestal of Older and Wiser Nations are dealing from a position of complete and absolute pathetic impotence.
These are the methods we are constantly told the U.S. should be using in dealing with terrorism and crazed regimes building WMD. And in the real world, far away from the rarified plateaus of the Enlightened, it accomplishes jumpin' jack shit.
