I admit, I laughed at that last one
I often think of people who wear turbans as wearing a giant bandage on their heads, after having their brains removed! It's too bad christian fundies don't have similar headgear for me to laugh at. They're all nuts IMO. Although I am disturbed when I hear of highly educated people supposedly having strong religious beliefs. In my experience the higher the education, the less people believe in God. I have to wonder if many of those people are wearing a religious facade for personal gain - social climbing - like confidence artists. Indeed I have to wonder how many of these same type are the ones causing trouble in the mideast. Very disturbing to me.
