I disagree

Eloquence does make a great President. Reagan was known as the Great Communicator, and when people think of FDR, they think of his fireside chats and his stirring words like "we have nothing to fear but fear itself." Kennedy is remembered for his ability to inspire people with words like "We choose to go to the Moon not because it is easy, but because it is hard!". Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation and Gettysburg Address are enduring masterpieces of inspirational writing by a true statesman. Teddy Roosevelt advised "speak softly but carry a big stick." George Washington's Farewell Address...do I really need to go on?

The President of the United States is our representative to the world, our spokesman and our advocate. Can you imagine any respectable business hiring an inarticulate lout like Dubya as its product spokesman? I'm embarrassed for my country every time George W. Bush opens his mouth.
