Oh c'mon
I'd like to see what you, or I, or anyone would sound like if someone recorded, word for word, everything you said to anybody off the cuff over five years, and then started picking out the verbal errors.
You know we're not talking about the exceptions, we're talking about the rule. George W. Bush is an embarrasingly inarticulate spokesman for our country.
It occurs to me just now that I have never seen an example of Bush's writing skills. If Bush were an excellent writer but a lousy public speaker you might have some grounds for maintaining that it's not fair to judge him by his lack of oral skill. But based on all the evidence, Bush is a lousy communicator, and I do think it's fair to judge the quality of a person's intellect by his ability to express his thoughts. Until you can provide evidence to the contrary, Occam's Razor says that what we see is what we get: A moron in the Oval Office.
