I had a collicky baby. She got over it as soon as she got old enough to have a longer intestine.
She also complained a lot as a baby. That stopped as soon as she learned to talk, at 10 months, after which she continued to be assertive and independent, but was much better natured. It's hell to have all those thoughts and not be able to explain them.
