I honestly have memories from before I could talk...

I am not making this up....

I so HATED not being able to communicate. I remember being terrified by a spider on the wall, but not being able to get the issue across to my parents. I have lots of snapshot memories from my early years....

My memories go back before 1 years old.... I think that I have memories from 6 months, but I cant prove it... I can describe my great grandfather and his house in detail- he died before I was 1 year old. I remember him holding me up and showing me a termite... my memories from that age are odd, like 3-d snapshots. One memory is staring at the colors formed by oil on a puddle in my great grandfather's driveway... It is hard to explain, but even though my attention was focussed on the puddle, I have a clear image of the trailer and my great grandfather and what I was wearing and the car we had at the time... it is like a holographic memory...

I only have a few memories from that age, but they are really vivid, more detailed than my memory of last week... my pre-verbal memories are all very visual. Anyone else have memories from that age?
