teach a baby to speak in sign language
I saw somewhere that you can teach a baby to speak in simple sign language long before they can learn to talk. (And that makes them much more well behaved because they are able to break down the communication barrier much earlier.)
I'll let you know if it works. I've got one that is due to arrive very soon.
I plan on learning some simple sign language that I will attempt to teach to the baby.
