The problem with Israel...

...is it is a state founded on religion. In the world there is only one other state with that qualification and that is Vatican City. As such it becomes a symbol of that religion and by the masses is not viewed really a state at all, but as a sanctuary fro Jewish people.

In many ways it can be likened to a large religious Disneyland for people of the Jewish faith, with various religious attractions, i.e a wailing wall, etc.

That's why Israel has much the same problems as Islam, namely a massive fanaticism and subservience of human intellect to religious maxims.

In the 21st century ones sees these things and wants to laugh or cry. It's hard to imagine how folks can sustain religions these days, until one truly grasps the omnipotent power of fear and the wonder of indoctrination.

Heaven's Gaters, Jonestowners, Raelians, Scientologists, Christians, Muslims, Taoists, Hindus, Buddhists and Jews are all in the same boat - a fantasy cruise into the land of fear, obedience and make believe. Saying one is better than another is much like picking your favorite cult.

That's the problem with Israel and the Islamic nations whose laws are based on religion - they are all a bunch of fanatic cultists whom are incapable of being rational due to their belief structures. And...big surprise..these folks are some of the most violent folks on Earth.

In a more perfect world there are NO religious states. Period.

So if you get rid of Israel, you have to get rid of all the other nations that use religion as their form of government. And humanity isn't ready for that yet. WAY too much ignorance and fear still out there. So religions, and religious states will remain until the masses learn more of the universe and their relationship with it.

Give it another 1000 years.
