Pointless

Refuting it would be like going over one of Lindy's long articles point-by-point. In accusing the other side of mythology, the article propogates its own deep myths. You said it yourself: cherry-picking history like crazy.

Franklin Roosevelt and his fellow liberal internationalists had sounded the first alarms about Hitler, but conservatives had stubbornly—even suicidally—maintained their isolationism right into the postwar era.

"When I am talking to you mothers and fathers, I give you one more assurance. I have said this before but I shall say it again and again and again: Your boys are not going to be sent into any foreign wars."

--Roosevelt campaign speech in Boston Gardens, 1940.

Remember, we're talking Hitler here, not Japan.

I post responses to a lot of things. Much of my responses consist of refuting, with numbers and sources, common "everybody knows" leftist statistics, ideas, and assertions. Usually, this doesn't make much of an impression, and it's a lot of work for little return.
