Heart it got 107 today

Robert — 7/21/2006 3:28:52 AM (archived)

Unbelievable. At least it's a dry heat, right?

Heat exhaustion results in conservatism, eh? That explains a lot--I'd heard that heat and dehydration swell the tissues of the brain and causes permanent damage. Now I understand.

Air conditioner's been delayed a day--was due today, but FedEx now says tomorrow. The handyman who was going to put it in for me won't be around tomorrow, so I'll be doing it myself. Nothing's gonna stop me after this morning's weather forecast predicted temperatures as high as 105 here this weekend.
