No kidding
People elsewhere have this idea that California has a perfect climate, but that's sort of an average, what we experience in the spring and fall, and we have mild winters. But damn, these summers. California is humid, starting with seawater evaporation at the coast and reinforced by agriculture in the Central Valley. You have to go the Death Valley to find the dry heat. Didn't used to bother me as a kid, but that's age for ya. I've gotta move north, and accounting for global warming, that might just mean Alaska. But I could settle for a Seattle fog, right about now.
