I also support nuclear electric generation on a massive scale. I also don't think it's practical to rebuild our cities so they are suitable for mass transit, but then again, we don't need a 300 HP SUV to run down to the corner and get a pack a smokes, either. I would also shut down all outdoor lighting. (I'm an amateur astronomer!) Not only will these strategies mitigate the alleged effects of global warming, they would do double duty in freeing us from foreign oil suppliers. Fortunately, most of the CO2-mitigating technologies have other benefits so even if we're dead wrong about global warming, the benefits will still be worthwhile.
But most of all, we need to use common sense and conservation. Ridiculing all efforts to conserve, or condemning them as being "bad for the economy" is disgraceful. Some of these measures can be market driven, others will need to be implemented by legislation. And the mix will be determined by the ballot, not the boardroom.

That seems like a reasonable response to me.
