So you are buying the idea that something can grow out of a person that can withstand 1,400 degrees of heat? Don't know about microbiologists, but a lot of chemists just spit coffee into their keyboards.
Ignorance, lack of knowledge on a subject, is no vice. There isn't a person alive who isn't ignorant of many things.
I'm sure levels of ignorance can be tracked on a curve like anything else, but some of the sites you visit actually shove this curve into the negative side. I think people actually get stupider reading this stuff.
Find another hobby. I fear it's only a matter of time before one of these sites convinces you to do something that's a really bad idea.
