re: Find another hobby?

Look, if you bring something up that you don't necessarily believe in, you should be willing to accept it when somebody points out that it is impossible. Not just unlikely, but impossible. Many of the things you "bring up" are not a matter of physical impossibility as they are a matter of logical impossibility. Many things aren't even consistent with each other.

All theories and assumptions come with a pile of things that would also have to be true if they were, and they all have to hook together consistently, too.

I suspect most people who believe in things like this see only surfaces of things, and don't bother to follow the ideas through to the inevitable conclusions.

For example, I dealt with contrails a long time ago, pointing out that by sheer physical necessity, tens of thousands of people involved at all levels of CIVILIAN airline construction and maintenance would have to know all about it and NOT TELL ANYONE. Many conspiracy theories go aground on this same objection.
