Statistics?

I live in a suburb of a major city. Thirty years ago when I came here, I couldn't see the air. Now when I drive to work in the city, I SEE the air I breathe. If I drive with my windows down during the particularly bad days, I spend the day coughing and have asthma attacks. I see the dense particulates spiraling into the air from smoke stacks. I don't need to check statistics to tell me I'm breathing foul air and the effect it has on me. I work in the medical field and medical literature already tells us that asthma is on the rise and other problems because of poor air quality. When I was growing up in a farm area, I knew the smell of FRESH air. It's only a memory now.

You have to be a Bush-wa. You're certainly in major denial.
