PS

You mention time as if humanity's duration and presence is inconsequential in the larger scheme of things. To the universe, humanity existing for a nanosecond or a trillion millennia would be exactly the same.

Time is an illusion, perceived by things with a consciousness that oscillates at a certain fundamental frequency. A trillion millennia have passed in the time it has taken you to read this post. However those millennia passed in some other part of the universe. Not merely species were born, lived and died in the time everyone here reads this post, but planets, stars and galaxies have been formed and died as well.

None of it was insignificant just because we were ignorant of these events. The universe makes no such judgment calls.

It is for the same reason that you have received such strong responses for your comments. The universe is self-correcting, always seeking balance and when any component is off-balance the surrounding environment absorbs the energy and helps restore balance.
