Lindy crossposted after I moved her original post and my linking post dropped below the line. Since it was a essentially a link to a thread on Off-Topic, I let it stay, especially after James Brown clearly stated that there was no space music, no evidence of ET, on that OffTopic thread. I hope you've read that thread, the annomalist aspect was completely discredited there (but there might still be some scraps, if the Yeti is hungry).

Furthermore, I thought it was interesting that the annomalism mostly stayed on OT, while the thread here on Space has shown us all a very nice look into the efforts of an amateur radio astronomer. That part belongs here, not off topic. This has been an interesting thread, one based in science, not annomalism. And I am delighted that James has continued to contribute to the HZ beyond this thread.

The only one that I was being polite towards was to James, in allowing him to estalish his bono fides as a scientist here, not on Off-topic. I really didn't do annomalism any favors by leaving it here, rather the opposite may be true.

In hindsight, and after thinking about it too much, a new thread should have been created and this one trashed. Didn't have the time for that sort of tinkering, especially after it had several posts going.

Sorry 'bout your breakfast. Your concerns are noted and I'll continue to take the heat when I pluck turds from your cornflakes. Know that in all my moderating deliberations I hear the footfalls of the Yeti . . .
