There are protocols laid out to follow but I’m under no obligation to follow them. In fact I don’t think I would because they are tailored to controlling the dissemination of information about the Hit and for protecting the interests of the government involved, the school or university that sponsors the search, the facility that made the discovery and last the astronomer that actually made the find – in that order.
Since I am none of these I will make up my own rules on the spot and in real time.
How’s that for hard to get along with <grin>
