Why are there so few others working with you?
I read that Argus was supposed to have 5,000 dedicated amateur
radio astronomers scanning the heavens, but it sounds like there is
only a handful doing so.
Is radio astronomy just tougher and more expensive to do than
optical astronomy? Which, BTW, can also contribute to SETI.
Or does it just get boring for people looking for signals that never
come night after night? Not being snide here, just making an
observation.
Still, with remote stations, I would think at least a few more serious
amateurs would make the effort to do SETI.
