Unfortunately, this is true of the whole damn environmental controversy.
You're not hearing much from the careful scientists. You're hearing from the microphone hogs who are pushing the flooding of Manhattan now and were pushing the death of humanity, the plankton, and the ecosystem from worldwide UV destruction a few years back. You don't think I still remember that?
Try and find a post where I have uncritically linked to or quoted an industry source to back my views on this. I have consistently used the work of the scientific community itself, and pointed out where the problems are.
