Above I showed that a power plant with an output of 4100 MegaWatts, or ~4*109, dumping ALL that power into heating the world's oceans, with NONE of that energy escaping the oceans in ANY way and doing this for an ENTIRE YEAR would increase the temperature of the worlds oceans by .000000022 degrees.
The WORLD power consumption is estimated to be 12*1012 Watts, if we were to do the above calculation using 12*1012 Watts instead of 4*109 Watts we would get a temperature increase ~3000 times larger, or: .000066 degrees.
