But seriously, I'd say that you're right to define true "gayness" by its emotional component. Everything else is just hedonism and stimulation of nerve endings, and the males of most mammalian species are notoriously driven by their glands and a neural expressway directly connecting the brain with the genitals. It's reasonable to suppose that "m4m" is a purer expression of male sexuality than "m4w", with all it's necessary compromises with the sensibilities of the fairer sex.
