re: A few sidenotes
My neighbours up the mountain are gay.
They both have families with two kids each.
Their respective kids pictures are on each side of their bed.
They have very tastefully decorated their log cabin.
They are a lot of fun, in the fact they both have a marvelous sense of humor.
They aren't afraid to go off in any direction, they're intelligent and sometimes they make jokes about their situation.
I spent Thanksgiving there last year and met one's parents. He decided to be frisky with his partner while his dad (a good old boy) looked on. It was uncomfortable for the rest of us.
Made me wonder how I'd handle it if it were my son. Or husband. And what do you tell the kids.
