I was going through the daily avalanche of spam, and as always, a good half of them are pushing "enlargement" products. That reminded me of the fact that human males already have larger penises, in relation to body size, than any other primate males. Given that there's no intrinsic evolutionary advantage to a big wiener, it can only be ascribed to female selection over a couple of million years.
By now you'd think that this wouldn't be an issue, since men and women have coevolved and should be an optimum "fit" with one another. But the apparently bottomless demand for "enlargement" nostrums says otherwise.
If evolution by sexual selection is still going on, where will it all end? Will men in a few thousand years need to push a wheelbarrow in front of them to carry their gigantic genitalia?
Is there no end to the hoops that we poor males must jump through to win your affections????
