Don't be so sure. The world is full of people whose brains go on autopilot the moment religion is brought up. The world is full of extremely intelligent people who on Sunday mornings suspend all critical thinking and gladly agree with everything some fire and brimstone bible thumper preaches.

It's truly a fascinating phenomenon as much as it is a tragedy of our species.
