The Republican disarray, and the toilet-bowl full of floaters vying for the nomination, combines to become some of the best domestic political news I've heard in a looong time.
Can't find anything to disagree with in your thumbnail assessments, either. But I'll add a reminder that Huckabee's an ordained Baptist preacher, which makes me even more nervous than Romney's religio-pandering does.
On our side:
Hillary Clinton -- "way too much baggage to get the nod" - one can hope!
Barack Obama -- My man. Hope he gets it, and he picks advisors and Cabinet secretaries to compensate for his own lack of experience.
John Edwards -- No different from four years ago, which is a shame. He got my primary vote then, but time and issues have moved on.
Bill Richardson -- (did someone mention brown people?) I think an Obama-Richardson ticket would be perfect, for the country as well as the party. He insists he's not interested... we'll see.
