Is it just gullibility and criminal incompetence, or willful disregard for the truth in order to service their agenda? I don't know. But what really bothers me is that incompetence and massive malpractice is used as a defense against and an inoculation for charges of criminal dishonesty. Where I work, such a person would be shown the door post haste. Why is it that this administration gets a pass? why is that so many are satisfied by 'Whoops! We were just wrong. Oh darned if that ain't funny!'
