At sea level pressure [1 atm], I would guess that Venus is quite bit warmer than Earth's average temperature- but I don't know very precisely what Venus' average temperature at 1 atm is.
As I guess Earth's average temperature is 15 C and I would assume on Venus it was somewhere around 30 to 40 C.

Now, what was Earth's average sea level temperature in 2007 or say 2006 to the second decimal point- in other 15.XX C.
If we had a standard way of measuring Earth average temperature one could answer that question quite easily and with some degree of certainty that it was accurate. If you can't do 15.XX can you at least give 15.X C?

May I remind you that we are constantly dealing with temperature difference measured per decade to the second decimal point or even 3 rd decimial point so this shouldn't be such a unreasonable request.

The Hockey Stick has little to do with 20th Century temperature except in the comparison it's temperature to the past 1000 years. The graph "shows" little climate variable in last 1000 years and compares it to the 20th Century where on this graph it shows significant increasing temperature. The Hockey Stick refutes all past scientific evidence of significant climate variation in the last 1000 years.
This claim by Mann's Hockey Stick was accepted without adequate scientific scrutiny- and no one has yet been allowed by Mann to repeat exactly process that allowed him to construct this graph. In science Mann's refusal to allow anyone else to repeat his work, is utter unacceptable and is unscientific and for the UN to continue to employ Mann is strong evidence it being unprofessional and disinterested in science.
