Maybe we could find some way to provoke and accelerate global warming so your heroic view of humanity could be demonstrated to those closed minded skeptics who don't share your opinion. There's probably even some way of turning it into a money-making proposition.

Then again, maybe that was the plan all along. After all, what have future generations ever done for us?
