Just found this article today. I see "what the heck" news on climate like this all the time.
Computer models notwithstanding, the system is unbelievably complex, and frankly, nobody knows what's really going on. Note that the speculation in the article about clouds on heat radiation puts cloud cover in exactly the opposite role regarding temperature effects as Svensmark's work does.
How much are we willing to bet at this point that Greenland MIGHT melt?
Again, I support more advanced ways of supporting a large technological society. If this whole planet aspires to the middle class and above, we damn well better figure out where to get a lot of power that doesn't pollute like coal does, or reside primarily in nutball states, CO2 or not.
On the other hand, those who just want to take control of, or even shut down, industrial society are going to have a tough time selling me on that, particularly since I'm aware that this has been the goal of these same people long before global warming was an issue.

- Part 1: Global Warming and Sea Level Change READ TO THE END before responding
- Temperature rise
- How much new arable land becomes available due to a global warming cycle?
- For temperature rise on the low side of the range...
- The world will definitely be worse, much worse.

- Thermocline and temperature structure of the ocean
- Thermal expansion of ocean water.

- re the antarctica data...
- Okay, are you sure you put the right link?
- I will go over the points in detail later today, but let me just say this now
- sea ice extent currently is BELOW the recent mean
- Ocean temperature update
- Arrrrgh, not sure how it became IIPC it should read IPCC (n/t)
