The http://arctic.atmos.uiuc.edu/cryosphere/ link actually seems to be making a particularly convincing case for global warming- I am not really seeing what argument you are trying to make with that link... I can point to the peak just before 1997 and say its above the average for 1978 to present- so...?

as for Antartica data the IPCC specifically addressed that, and I will discuss it very soon- the trends are not going to be the same in the southern hemisphere as the northern...
