If this is about the Lindy-Yeti-Sabbatical post below, IMHO it's not worth the trouble to get angry about it.

Lindy's style of posting has been constant since back at MSNBC. For that matter so have most of us been pretty steady. She may secretly relish the negative attention anomalist posts get or, as I suspect, she may feel that is her unique contribution to the boards.

Not everyone can post about radiation wavelengths detected from Quasars or argue whether the L brothers are the Gracchi bros reincarnated, riling up the underclasses against the rich HZ Senators. Some folks fields of interests are narrow and others more diverse.

There are producers here for different folks. Lindy is/was a producer for Bowser, Eric, Johannes, SP and others who enjoy the fringe stuff. Since the MSNBC days folks on both sides enjoyed the conflict. The biggest anomalist bashers left the HZ for greener pastures - where there was MORE anomalism to bash. They get off on bashing anomalism to the same extent the anomalists get a rise out of posting it.

Even the theatrics of creating conflict sustain some folks here. Again looking at the HZ objectively you have different producers, secondary producers, different users for each producer's content and folks who alternate between user/producer. Some producers intentionally generate conflicts in their content. This is what ER laments, he quickly pegged Tom and Bowser of being polar opposites, both generating conflicts and being provocateurs. But this is their chosen role as producers. By provoking they hope to feed the users who like dissension, arguing and conflict.

Other users are repulsed by such and only emerge to post on "safe" threads where conflict is non-existent. Different producers provide for these folks, HZ sustenance.

Again, not worth the anger - at all. Criticism of moderators is also par for the course. My ten cents below about appearing impartial must be taken with a grain of salt. Robert has already declared that such constraints would make him "inhuman" and restrict his abundant capacity to interact with fellow Zoners. He is blatantly partial, and this of course leads to it's own dissension, when the boards are operated by someone with their own agenda. The "righties" now hold their tongues to a degree, never letting both barrels fly - or they depart.

Well, except me - I never hold my tongue. My contractual agreement with the Zone pays me by the word.
