I knew you meant what you said.
I was just pointing out the roadblocks.
As for the last part, "declare the invention 1. unworkable, 2. illegal, or 3. damaging to our economy" that was just my sense of humor (black humor, of course) at play. They would pull out all the stops to keep such an invention off the market, not excluding murder, if necessary. I read a long time ago that oil magnates have paid big bucks to purchase patents that would have reduced our dependency on oil and then buried the patents where they'd never see the light of day.
